What if you could turn the world the other way around and take a peek at what’s on the other side? Perhaps you’ll find something you never expected. Such as friendship. When Oscar meets a lonely little girl, it’s the start of an adventure for both of them. Together they make an unusual journey to two very different worlds, each beautiful and necessary. And it all begins when the little girl’s tooth falls out...

Oscar is a charming skeleton whose story is told in beautiful images and delightful language - would recommend highly!
This is a fun, uplifting story about friendship with beautiful collage illustrations. Kids are sure to love it!
One of the things I love about this book is the way Oscar’s new friend shows him her life and her world and then Oscar reciprocates telling her all about his life, showing her how he lives. While they live in very different worlds, they are happy to share their "biggest secrets, dreams and other very important things". It’s an invitation to our children to find out more about how other people in this world live.
Oscar is an inspiring tale about how true friendship connects people regardless of how different they are. The collage illustrations are magnificent.
A poignant book that imaginatively deals with overcoming difference. It is a story of friendship that teaches readers to accept others, as well as themselves, for who they are.
