Nimesh is walking home from school. Except…there happens to be a shark in the corridor. And a dragon in the library! And why would crossing the road lead to the North Pole? A fun-filled story about a little boy with a BIG imagination, Nimesh the Adventurer will surely make even the dullest journey a dazzling adventure.

Go on an adventure with Nimesh!

This is a well illustrated picture book about a small boy with a big imagination. I liked the way that the illustrator has made collages using real images mixed with painted backgrounds and textures.
Nimesh is doing some every day activities like being at school and walking home but he is able to turn everything into an exciting adventure. He spots a shark in the corridor, a dragon in the library and then jumps on sled to the North Pole.
This is a fun story that shows us that every day tasks and journeys can be more interesting if we use some imagination.

      What a great adventurer!

I loved this book from the start as my cousin is called Nimesh. I've never seen a kid's book with his name in it. I love the artwork and who can resist a book with a tiger on the front! I love how the adventures are relatable, not so far fetched that you can't imagine you being in them. I'm a 45 year old who didn't read many books as a child but I know I would've enjoyed this as a young reader.
